Mister Tim

A prolific and award-winning singer, composer, arranger, actor, teacher, music director and conductor, Mister Tim has performed around the world in bands, a cappella groups, orchestras, and music theater productions. He performs his solo vocal live-looping show and a solo classic crooning show, is music director for Vocality Music, regularly releases music and music videos, and directs and performs wit a variety of ensembles. Rachael sits down to talk with him about his latest release, Are You Gonna, a love song to his wife, along with some of his other newer releases.

Venice Vocal Jam

While real travel isn’t in the cards just yet, Rachael takes a virtual trip across the Atlantic to speak with Silvia Marchesan from the Venice Vocal Jam about their first album, “Raise”, which was released in November and about how the group, who is split between the UK and Venice, Italy are managing to still produce music and videos during the pandemic!

Mezzo A Cappella

Established in 2015, Mezzo is a all-female a cappella group that has been performing all over the New York tri-state area. They pride themselves on cool arrangements of contemporary tunes, as well as reinventions of classic hits. Rachael sits down with the group to talk about their recently released album, Woman Like Me!

鱧人-HamojiN

HamojiN from Tokyo gathers some of the best and most reputable musicians in the jazz and a cappella music industry from Japan. They are Ayumu, Daisuke, and Kotetsu, veteran professional jazz vocalists, together with Kaichiro, vocal percussion master.
This group of good drinking friends came up with the name “HamojiN”(鱧人) after their acclaimed debut in 2015, by combining the word “Harmony” and “people”(JIN) together, meaning “Harmony of people”. As described by their name, they also pursue the possibilities of improvisation in a cappella. The aim of the group is simply to “make good music”, which is definitely happening!
